Improving places

Creating places that people are proud of

We want to provide great homes in good neighbourhoods. For over ten years, we have supported and worked with local residents and groups to enhance their neighbourhoods, creating places that people are proud to live in and bringing people together.

From community gardening projects, to events in parks and public spaces on the estates we manage - we have been able to create great spaces and experiences for residents in neighbourhoods across Greater Manchester.

You can make a grant application for up to £10,000 that can be used to pay for things that will benefit your neighbourhood such as:

  • A community event
  • Refurbishing a community building or outside space
  • Gardening projects
  • Reclaiming wasteland or empty buildings for community use
  • Setting up a community shop
  • Projects delivered in parks and open spaces
  • Environmental improvements

We are always looking for ways to enhance the neighbourhoods we work in, so if you have an idea that would benefit from our support, we'd love to hear from you.
