Friday update for residents of The Arches and The Picture House

29 November 2019

Friday update for residents of The Arches and The Picture House

Today the lift was repaired at The Picture House and is back up and running.

As everyone has now returned to their homes, our onsite support team won't be around over the weekend. They will be back next week between 9am - 5pm until all of the decoration works are complete. If you need to speak to us, please call the usual number 0300 561 1111 and our customer service and support will be able to help.

Today you have been sent an information pack about how to apply for money that has been raised by generous donations following the fire. The money is available to everyone who was displaced by the blaze at The Cube on Friday November 15.

An official Just Giving page was set up by the Greater Manchester Disaster Relief Fund (GMDRF), managed by Forever Manchester. More than £17,000 has been donated so far to the appeal for Cube students, and an additional contribution of £23,000 will be made by the GMDRF for students and non-students who had to leave their homes due to the fire.

Inside the information pack you'll find an application form. You need to complete and return this before Friday, December 6 2019. There will be a variety of payments offered, depending on a range of criteria, based on how severely individuals were affected.

Bolton Council have also invited everyone affected to a free skating session at the Winter Wonderland. You have also been sent information about how to redeem this in your information pack.
