Supporting families in Trafford

Irwell Valley Homes has funded a new education and family mentoring programme called Trafford Goals, in partnership with Trafford Council, Our Sale West and Your Housing Group.

Local charity, Foundation 92 are leading the ‘Trafford Goals’ programme which is being delivered by a collective of third sector organisations including Sale Sharks Community Trust, Altrincham FC, In The Community, Communities United and The Hideaway Partington. 

Trafford Goals provides youth activities, sports leadership and accredited learning programmes, a skills programme for 16 to 24-year-olds who are not in employment education or training and specialist family lifestyle programmes. 

Tom Hutton, Head of Foundation 92, said: “Through collaboration with local housing associations and partners, members of the Trafford community will have the opportunity to take part in a range of inclusive, innovative, progressive and life-changing programmes that will improve the physical and mental wellbeing, confidence and resilience of the people involved”
