We are consolidating three of our offices in Old Trafford, Bolton and Worsley to take an office suite at the iconic Soapworks in Salford.
The move comes as we are building over 1000 affordable homes across the region, as well as making significant improvements to our customer service offer, IT systems and operational processes.
Sasha Deepwell, our Chief Executive Officer said: “We are always looking for ways to improve how we work, provide better services to customers and achieve value for money. Consolidating our three current offices and moving back to our roots in Salford, where Irwell Valley Homes started life, will help us to achieve this.
The Soapworks is a flexible working space, with fantastic transport links and great facilities. The central, cost-effective accommodation will help us to create the conditions which will enable colleagues to do their best thinking and enjoy work. Plus help us to attract and recruit talented people in the future.”
She went on to say: “In addition to our new office, we have developed community hubs across Greater Manchester. They will provide great places for colleagues to work in the heart of the communities we serve. Providing customers with better access to our services and support.”
We have signed a fifteen year lease on the Soapworks, and we will be moving in May of this year.
Mark Baldwin, Associate Director at GVA and acting on behalf of Soapworks landlord, GMPF, adds: “Soapworks has continued to evolve to become an exciting and interactive business destination with a dedicated on-site management team that has worked incredibly hard to create collaborative and pioneering work space, with outstanding amenities for all the staff who work there.”
