To report a neighbour dispute, contact your Neighbourhood Manager during normal working hours, 8am – 6pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 5pm on Fridays. Out of office (including weekends) call 0300 561 1111 (this is included in any inclusive calls made from a mobile and low cost for all landlines).
Neighbour Mediation Service
Neighbour disputes often start over a small issue but can quickly grow into a more serious problem, which can affect a person’s health and day-to-day life. To prevent an issue escalating in to a major problem, irwell valley homes offers a Neighbour Mediation Service.
Mediation is a confidential process in which an impartial third party helps to resolve the problem in an informal environment. If you would like to find out more about how mediation can help, please contact your Neighbourhood Manager.
What you can do to be a considerate neighbour?
Much of the anti-social behaviour reported to irwell valley homes involves low level nuisance and disputes between neighbours. As part of everyday living, and the fact that no home is totally soundproof, we all have to expect some noise from the people living around us but please show respect and consideration for others.
