This work is carefully planned and delivered in an organised and controlled way throughout each financial year (from April to March).
The programme of work is targeted to address specific issues that we have identified within your home. In some instances you may not realise that works are required. One of the main aims of this type of investment work is to continually invest in and keep our properties in the best condition possible.
How will you know if your home is included in the Planned Investment Programme?
We will contact you prior to any works taking place. The notice period will allow for residents to discuss any issues or queries. If your home is identified for works under the Planned Investment Programmes, we will request access to the property to carry out a detailed works survey and to agree and finalise the nature of the works required.
What type of work is included in the Planned Investment Programme?
The type of works undertaken in the Planned Investment Programmes include:
If you do not give us access into your home to carry out works/surveys and do not respond to calls/letters, you will receive a letter giving you 14 days to contact us or you will be omitted from the programme.
The length of time for all works will vary slightly from property to property. We will provide you with a specific timescale after our contractors have completed their detailed survey about how long the work will take.

Preparing for the works to start

Completion of the work
A member of our team will carry out an inspection when the works are completed, unless post inspection isn't possible i.e. fixed wire testing works. At this time you will also receive a customer satisfaction form to complete. This is your opportunity to inform irwell valley homes of your experience as a customer of the work undertaken.
